Another month with a positive result for the Saint-Vincent Casino.

The month of May 2010 was another positive performance at Casino de la Vallée in Saint-Vincent.

The gross income from games was 8,262,437 euros, with a percentage increase of 14.9% on the same period last year.

The positive result for the month has also impacted on the cumulative annual result, now at +5%.

Compared to the same month last year, all games have increased: French games by 17.87%, American games by 24.41% and electronic games by 6.53%.

A result which, ten months later, is the reward for all the interventions provided for in the Industrial Plan.

Positive figures for the volume of play too, which has grown by 6.8%. It is a very comforting sign, and highlights the Casino’s increased competitiveness.

The trend of increasing entrance figures has continued, and in the month of May the figure was 46,747, which is 2,440 (+5,5%) more than in May 2009, despite the fact that there wasn’t the traditional extended holiday weekend which coincides with 1st May.

Overall, the figures are slightly higher than the estimates in the Annual Business Plan.

In order to combat the effects of the Football World Cup, the events calendar for June and continuing into July is particularly full of events organised especially for the customers:

* From 4th to 6th the Second Round of the II Chemin de Fer Tournament will take place, which will also be a chance to welcome the arrival of the summer with the opening of the swimming pool at the Grand Hotel Billia, and a Pizza Party organised in the park at the hotel.

* On the subject of gourmet cuisine, on Saturday 5th at the Brasserie du Casino, one of the historic restaurants of Rome, Alfredo Alla Scrofa, will be on show. Its incomparable “fettuccine” will be presented along with other traditional dishes from Rome.

* On the 18th and 19th the heat of the Chemin de Fer Rally will take place, together with Gigi D’Alessio’s show, which is already sold out.

* From 24th to 27th the month comes to a close with the Poker Texa Hold’em Tournament, organised in collaboration with Gioco Digitale.

To complete the calendar for June there are the weekly Texas Hold’em Tournaments and ZERO DOPPO ZERO, Saint-Vincent’s Talent Show, which takes place on 4th and 5th June.
