A positive March at Casino de la Vallée

Valle d’Aosta’s Casino breaks even in the month of March. The gross income from games was Euro 7,265,763, (-0.3%) which is in line with the Annual Business Plan.

There has been further stabilisation of the positive trend for the Electronic Games (+8.13%), which have benefited from the additional planned innovations to the product in the month that has just finished.

The French Games boast an excellent performance (+18.94%), thanks to the very positive results for Roulette, Fairoulette and Poker, and excellent results for Chemin de Fer. This was in spite of considerable winnings which heavily influenced the results of Trente Quarante, and, in the last few days of the month, those for Roulette.

Great success both in terms of popularity and results was recorded for the new game, Ultimate Texas Hold’Em, on offer for customers in the last ten days of the month as a continuation of the renewal of the games available, which was started in 2009. This process will continue in the month of April with the introduction of a new table game of Trente Quarante.

The American Games suffer the most from the reduced cash flow, but new promotional initiatives have been planned for the near future to kick start the sector.

Positive result also for the trend in the amount of games played, which shows an important solidity in perseverance against the economic recession. In the same way, the annual trend in entrance figures continues to be positive (+6.69%), despite the slight drop recorded in March (-0.9%), due to the different positioning of Sundays in the monthly calendar. The total entrance figures were 44,722.

The strong positive trend in recorded VIP entrances was enforced and shows, in the category of excellence, double-figure increases, both on a monthly level and so far this year. This strong growth is also characterised by the so-called ‘occasional’ customers who have certainly been won back by the many new things placed on offer by the Casino in the last year.
