Information on matters of video surveillance – card rooms and entrance

In accordance with article 13, Legislative Decree 30 June 2003 no. 196 (personal data protection code), Casino de la Vallée s.p.a., in its role as Data Controller and temporary legal representative will communicate to the customers how and for what reason the personal data collected with the company video surveillance system will be used, its circle of communication and diffusion and the nature of consent for processing.
Personal data collected by the installed video surveillance system, near the entrance for clients, employees, suppliers and visitors and along the external perimeter of the building and in some internal areas of interest for security reasons, will be processed and used in order to guarantee everyone’s personal safety and to safeguard the corporate patrimony. Personal data collected with the audiovisual systems, exclusively in the card room situated on the second floor of the building, which is intended for Poker games, are regulated by the trade union agreement in accordance with article 4 of law 20.05.1970 no. 300 and are used to ensure the fairness of the games. In all areas under video surveillance, there are notices indicating its presence.
The data will not be communicated/diffused to third parties and will be conserved within the legal time limits and by the Guarantor Authority.
In accordance with article 24, paragraph 1, letter g), of Legislative Decree 196/2003, which introduces the principle of the balancing of interests, the gathering of images can take place without consent when in pursuit of a legitimate interest of the Data Controller or a third party, through pieces of evidence or in pursuit of the protection of people or goods against possible assault, theft, robbery, damage, acts of vandalism, or for purposes of protection against fire or safety at work.
You can exercise your rights at any time by contacting the Data Controller or the person responsible for privacy, in accordance articles 7, 8, 9 and 10 of Legislative Decree 30 June 2003, no. 196, specifically you can ask for confirmation of the existence of data undergoing processing which might regard you, obtain without delay the communication of that data and of its origin, its annulment, its transformation into an anonymous form or a block on data processed in violation of the law; the updating, correcting or integration of the data; confirmation that the people to whom the data was communicated were informed of the aforementioned activities, excluding when such fulfilment is impossible or involves a large effort disproportionate to the rights being safeguarded; to oppose for legitimate reasons, totally or in part, the processing of personal data even if it is pertinent to the reasons for data collection.
